The is a great budget drone. It has many features that usually exist in more expensive models, such as auto take-off and landing, a decent camera with a 2 axis gimbal, different flight modes to make the flying experience versatile, and the stability to withstand even moderate wind. It gives a 12 to fifteen minute flight time, depending on the functions you use. It is not a professional drone for videography, cinematography, or photography. Still, it is a great product to use if you don’t have much experience in drone flying but don’t want to use a toy-grade drone. The controller and the drone are designed to mimic products made by major drone manufacturers like DJI, so you don’t have to worry about whether it would feel alien in your hands. It is an excellent premium drone at a reasonable and affordable price.

Design

The is designed, keeping in mind that most drone flyers are familiar with DJI drones. The feel is like that of a DJI drone with more affordable pricing. It comes with a standard controller on which you can mount your smartphone to view the live feed, take photos and videos, and view and monitor the flight data.

It has a decent camera that captures videos in 1080p and gives clear aerial shots. It has a 2 axis gimbal, which provides movement to the camera without compromising on stability. It has various features such as auto take-off and landing, different flight modes such as altitude hold, position mode, orbit mode, one-touch return home, headless mode, etc. These are rarely seen in drones in the same price range.

Flight

The C-Fly Dream Drone has three flight modes, altitude hold mode, position mode, and orbit mode. In Altitude hold mode, unless prompted by the user, the drone will hold its position, hovering in the same spot with stability. By turning on the orbit mode, you can circle the drone around a point of interest and take circular footage of it from all directions. Position mode works best when you have a strong GPS signal. It provides the most stable flight. In position mode, the C-Fly Dream Drone can maintain its altitude and position even with moderate windy conditions. Most of the standard functions can be performed in all three modes.

The C-Fly Dream Drone has auto take-off and landing. This means that once it is turned on, the drone will fly fully autonomously, perform flight control, and stabilize on its own. In auto-landing mode, it will position itself above the landing gear on its own and slowly descend without any user input. Battery

The C-Fly Dream Drone comes with two batteries, one for the drone and one for the controller. Both are rechargeable detachable lithium-polymer batteries. The drone battery has a capacity of 11.4 volts and 950 mAh, which gives a flight time of 15 minutes without video recording and about 12 to 13 mins flight time with video recording.

The controller battery has a capacity of 3.7 volts and 2500 mAh. Both these batteries are detachable and can be charged using a USB cord. The USB cord can be connected to a computer or a compatible wall adaptor. The USB points on both batteries are on the battery pack itself, so you can have an uninterrupted flying experience with the C-Fly Dream Drone if you have rechargeable batteries.
